Smartphone detox.

Constant social media use can negatively impact quality of life and sensory overload, requiring breaks from screens for mental and physical health.

What is a smartphone detox?
It is a time frame where you purposefully cut back on how much time you spend on your devices and online. It is believed that taking a break from smartphones, social media and screens can be good for your mental and physical health.

If tech use is affecting your well-being and causing distractions, consider a digital detox. It doesn't require quitting devices; just find a suitable lifestyle.

How long does it takes to phone detox?
It is important to understand that breaking a habit is no child's play, it requires determination and strength, you need to start slow maybe by spending 10 minutes without social media, 20 minutes without touching your phone unnecessarily.

#Phone Usage Guidelines

When is the right time to buy your kid a smartphone?

I owned my first cell phone when I was about 13 years, My parents believed that it was the right age for me to own a cell phone. And by that time we were still using the ones with buttons, remember? funny I know. That phone had no camera, no music and no social media platforms, it was just for calls, games and ringtones( instead of music).

The evolution of cellphones...

Although I can not dwell deeper but we all know that the phones we see today are not the phones we used to own. We did not have an access to internet anytime we wanted to, we did not know social media.
But now kids have access to all these things, internet, social ,media and even the sites that some parents know nothing about.

I believe there is  a certain age where kids are allowed to own smart phones.

So What age would you buy your kid a smart phone?

How do you deal with stress? Is stress something that is easy to deal with

I define stress an event that won't leave your mind no matter how you could try not think about it just pops out and makes you worry again, I refuse to use the word "Stressing" because I am still trying to define stress my way. I believe it starts as something small, and into grows to something bigger.

In medical concept...

Stress is a natural human reaction that makes us confront obstacles and dangers in our life. It is characterized as a state of anxiety or mental strain brought on by a challenging circumstance. Everyone goes through periods of stress. However, how we handle stress has a significant impact on our general wellbeing.

Stress involves changes affecting nearly every system of the body, influencing how people feel and behave.

Does stress leads to anxiety?

Fear, dread, and unease are the symptoms of Anxiety. You may experience a fast heartbeat, perspiration, and a restless, tight feeling. It can be a typical response to stress. For instance, you may experience anxiety before a writing a test, and whether you stress about it or not you can never control the outcome of that test. When presented with a challenging issue at work, or before making a significant decision? Yes but sometimes we need to just trust the process. There are many triggers of anxiety that I did not list here that people face daily.

Stress is like carrying a heavy backpack; at first, we don’t notice its burden and keep pushing forward. But, over time, as more items are added to the bag – such as responsibilities and worries – the load becomes heavier and increasingly difficult to manage.

I asked people on how would they advice someone who is currently going through a difficult time, and their responses are

-"Whenever you're in stress, always remember that, Your current situation is not your final destination".
-"Find something to keep you busy, thinking too much will hurt you".
-"It happened don't dwell on it find a solution instead".
